You will NOT see countless pictures of water droplets in different colors. You will NOT see pictures of eye closeups.------------------------------- Before submitting or joining the group ask yourself:  Is my creation original? Is it well executed (detailed)? Did I push my imaginative limit on this one?Categories: Digital Art, Traditional, Photo Manipulations, some Photography, maybe even some text art. Photography MIGHT get accepted, needs to follow same guidelines. How to Join as Member? 1. Hit "Join Our Group" 2. An admin will look at your gallery, and if you have something good to contribute you will be accepted. (you have great style, unique art, finished pieces, detailed artwork) 3. To make this process easier for us please include links to 3-5 of your BEST pieces. (not required, but helps) 4. Once your request goes through you can "Contribute Art" and participate in the future of this group. If one of your works is already in the gallery, you are guaranteed a member spot. Just Join. How to be a Watcher? 1. Hit "+deviantWATCH" button. 2. Anyone can be a watcher. 3. Get inspired, create some amazing art and send a Join request! Watchers can suggest a favorite from their gallery via "Suggest a Fav" link or a note. Favorites gallery is more forgiving, but if the work is great we might decline it only to send you a request for featured gallery. How to Submit? 1. Hit "Contribute Art" button (or "Suggest a Fave") 2. Choose deviation from your gallery or favorites 3. Hit "Submit" and then "Done" For now submissions are not limited ( but will still be passed through general guidelines of uniqueness.) Members are no longer auto-accepted. ( artwork is manually approved and added to gallery if it passes the rules) Now go ahead and submit your artwork. Lets get inspired. Lets push our own boundaries. Lets get creative and unique.  What was I rejected as a member? If you are rejected as a member, take a look at your gallery and ask yourself - "What is the focus of my art?", "What am I good at". Browse our featured gallery, Get Inspired, Create some amazing, unique, and stylistic art.. come back and try to join again. We will be happy to take a look at your gallery once more. Another reason for us rejecting members so we don't get overwhelmed with sub-par artwork submissions. I personally get some hate once in a while with people not understand why I rejected them.. but I knew from the start this would happen. My goal for this group was initially and still is to have the best artworks, to inspire other artists to push the envelope on their own art. Lot's of groups accept everybody, and accept a lot of sub-par and generic pieces. This group will never do that. I/We only accept Good if not THE BEST members and artwork ONLY. Why was my work rejected? Same reason as above. Your work might be amazing in someone else eyes, but will everyone get inspired looking at it? This is what the group is about - Inspiring new and seasoned artists of all mediums. Don't take rejection to heart, use it as an opportunity to grow as an artist. Push the envelope, create the best possible art you can, pay attention to details, pay attention to the style, pay attention to the quality.. Come back and try to submit art again. We will be happy to take a look at your new piece. Other reasons for rejections (we let some slide): Work contains nudity Work is older then September 2009 Your work is present in more than 10 groups Work has already received a lot of attention (usually through a DD) Gallery already contains a LOT of your work.If your work in not accepted: IF YOU REQUEST IT!, I or one of (future) mods will try to give you critique for your submission. A fair critique. Maybe a way to improve your submission (we can however decline your submission without explanation, and that is simply because you didn't follow the rules of submission). Same goes for membership requests. Do not get discouraged by 'rejection', use it as an opportunity to create something more unique, to push the envelope, to grow as an artist.
